The VLU is an intelligent tracking device with an integrated car alarm that houses a transceiver to pinpoint the vehicle’s location and transmits this information along with the vehicle’s identification and its engine status, to the Monitoring Station. The unit’s sensors and triggers are wired to the headlights, horn, door locks, power windows and any existing alarm system, securing the vehicle against tampering and theft. VLU’s compact size allows for inconspicuous and covert installation within the vehicle, making car snatchers oblivious to its presence. |

Star Technologies has deployed a vast, self-reliant proprietary infrastructure across cities to connect the vehicle with the entire system. The wireless communication network uses highly penetrating RF signals to track your vehicle beyond any obstacles. The Signalling system is spread across a series of transmitters to manage communication between the control centre and the vehicle. The transmitted signal is coded for absolute data security and relayed in clusters, so if one link in the chain is lost the others keep working. |

Star Technologies 24 hour active monitoring station oversees the entire vehicle tracking and recovery process. If a vehicle is reported stolen, its position is displayed on a computer generated map of the region, even when it’s moving. The monitoring station updates the owner to the vehicle’s whereabouts and dispatches Mobile Trackers to the location. The monitoring station can also take control of the vehicle’s various functions remotely, instructing the VLU to take preventive actions such as immobilizing the car, triggering the horn, flashing headlights and locking the doors etc. This not only dissuades car snatchers but also helps our Mobile Tracking Force locate and retrieve your vehicle quicker. |
